CONDITION GRADING CRITERIA
AT NOT PASSÉ, EVERY BAG UNDERGOES A CAREFUL INSPECTION BEFORE BEING OFFERED FOR SALE. OUR TEAM EVALUATES EACH ITEM BASED ON ITS OVERALL APPEARANCE, STRUCTURE, AND SIGNS OF WEAR.
TO PROVIDE CLARITY AND CONSISTENCY, WE ASSIGN A CONDITION GRADE USING OUR 1–10 GRADING SCALE, ALLOWING CUSTOMERS TO EASILY UNDERSTAND THE CONDITION OF EACH PIECE BEFORE PURCHASING.
OUR CONDITION GRADING CONSIDERS SEVERAL FACTORS INCLUDING:
GIVEN THE FACTORS ABOVE, WE GRADE THE CONDITION OF EACH BAG BASED ON THE TABLE BELOW.
| Grade | Description |
|---|---|
| 10 | NEW WITH TAGS Brand new with original tags attached and in perfect unused condition. May include original box, dust bag, authenticity card, or other packaging. |
| 9 | LIKE NEW New without tags and shows no visible signs of wear to the interior or exterior. May include original packaging. |
| 8 | EXCELLENT Gently used with very minor signs of wear such as light hardware scratching or minimal surface marks. Overall excellent condition with no significant flaws. |
| 7 | VERY GOOD Previously worn with some visible signs of use. May show minor wear such as light creasing or fading but remains in good wearable condition. |
| 6 | GOOD Good used condition with noticeable signs of use including corner scuffs, strap edge wear, or light interior marks but remains fully functional. |
| 5 | FAIR Shows moderate wear including hardware tarnishing, exterior discoloration, or visible interior wear. |
| 4 | WORN Shows heavy signs of use including strap deterioration, edge wear, or structural wear. |
| 3 | RESTORED/REPAIRED Shows visible signs of restoration or repair but remains usable. |
| 2 | POOR Shows major wear such as large stains, tears, or significant discoloration and may require repair. |
| 1 | VERY POOR Very poor condition and requires extensive repair. |
| 0 | FOR RESTORATION Shows extensive and significant wear and requires restoration prior to use or may be best suited for parts or hardware. |
PLEASE NOTE THAT VINTAGE AND PRE-OWNED ITEMS MAY SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR DUE TO AGE AND PREVIOUS USE. ALL NOTICEABLE FLAWS ARE CAREFULLY PHOTOGRAPHED AND DESCRIBED IN THE PRODUCT LISTING. WE RECOMMEND REVIEWING ALL IMAGES PRIOR TO PURCHASE.
MOST ITEMS SOLD BY NOT PASSÉ FALL WITHIN THE 6–9 RANGE, REPRESENTING GOOD TO LIKE-NEW CONDITION.
